Everything sells “as is” with no guarantees or warranties either expressed or implied. Once an item has been sold at auction it is then the responsibility of the purchaser.
Information obtained was furnished by sources deemed reliable; however, neither the owners nor the auction company guarantees this information to be correct. We encourage buyers to inspect the property/items prior to sale and bid accordingly.

Cash, Check or Credit Card in full day of sale. A 4% surcharge will be added to all Credit Card Invoices. A bank letter of credit may be needed if purchaser is new to Tugwell Auction & Realty Co.
Contact Tugwell Auction for Bank Wiring Instructions for online bids. A Bank Wire Fee of $30.00 will be charged.

Since February 2020 all Auction Companies are REQUIRED by the NC Department of Revenue to collect Sales Tax at ALL AUCTIONS. All purchases with titles will NOT be charged sales tax.

ALL Buyers who are exempt from paying NC Sales Tax must present a signed E595E North Carolina Department of Revenue Form to Tugwell Auction. If you are from NC or from out of state and do not have a North Carolina Qualified Farmers’ Exemption number, please call the NC Department of Revenue at 877-252-3052 to apply for this exemption. All purchases must be paid in full prior to loading and removing from sale site.
Tugwell Auction will assist with loading purchases on the day of sale and the Monday after sale day. Any other loading is the responsibility of the buyers.

ONLINE BIDDING available - Proxibid/Tugwell. All ONLINE FINAL BIDS will be charged a 3.5% Convenience Fee.
All online invoices are to be paid by Bank Wire Transfer or Credit Card day of sale or by first business day after sale. Call Tugwell Auction @ 252-531-1500 for wiring information.

Equipment is not to be removed from Sale Site until payment has been received.
